I'll start with the good points, because this piece has many of them. Tsuyun definitely has a knack for paying attention to smaller details, and this definitely brings the piece to life. The wings have enough feathers to look natural, without overloading them and making the wings too distracting. The wrinkles on the cloth along her body and legs are beautiful done and realistic, though the cloth along the ground has a sort of leaf-vein quality that doesn't feel quite as true. The hair, of course, is brilliant and done marvelously, which is essential for anime pics. The character's shading is gorgeous and really illuminates the heart with all of its intricate machinery.

Overall, the character herself is beautifully rendered. However, we then get to a point that could use some improvement. The background, though much better than simply adding a color or texture, could use some work. For example, the branches are amazing, and I am jealous of Tsuyun's branch work. At the same time, we have to remember that the character isn't heavily dressed and has her legs in the water. This implies that it isn't cold and that the trees have water to drink from. So why aren't there any leaves or buds? It's very tempting to take out leaves because they are tedious, but they're existence is crucial when the environment suggests they should be there. Instead of leaves, the trees dawn a texture that has lines going in un-tree-like directions and random spots. Tsuyun has proven in other pieces that she can use texture well, but the trees here are not a good example of this.
The ripples in the water are very pretty, but something about their shading, perhaps the thick lines of highlights, make the water have an almost jello-like texture, as if the water is bouncing rather than creating ripples.
Finally, the furthermost background is somewhat confusing. There's a silhouette there, but it's vague in a way that makes the viewer want to know what it is, but not be able to recognize it. Is it a castle, a mountain, trees?

All in all, Tsuyun's "Is this broken...?" is very well done. The lighting, color scheme, and spots of highlights complement each other fantastically. Her attention to detail is also admirable. If this attention is more aptly applied to the background as well, I doubt I'd have anything negative to say about this piece. You did an amazing job, and I hope that everyone else who sees this piece will, like me, look forward to seeing more.
